We are very pleased to announce that Professor Mark Hamer, Chair of Sport and Exercise Medicine at the Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health, has been named among the world’s most influential researchers in the 2025 Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers list. This latest recognition continues his remarkable run, having featured on the list every year since 2018.
The annual Clarivate list highlights scientists whose published work ranks within the top 1% of citations for their field and year, based on data from the Web of Science™ over the last ten years. Professor Hamer, an expert at ISEH and Professor of Sport & Exercise Medicine at University College London (UCL), is recognised within the cross-field category.
