We look forward to soon welcoming everyone taking part in this year’s 10th annual Institute of Sport, Exercise, and Health (ISEH) run, being held in London’s Regent’s Park on Sunday 23rd June 2024.
This chip-timed and marshalled event, (now at full capacity) will kick off at 9am, and beforehand, runners can take part in a warm up led by the team at F45 training.
We’re delighted to have teamed up with F45 Training Tottenham Court Road, to offer runners a complimentary 7 day pass to access to their facility to help support with training preparations leading up to this event.
Runners will be able to undertake a range of sessions lasting 45 minutes to help them achieve their fitness goals with each workout being led by two of their experienced coaches.
Outlined below is an overview of the workout schedule runners can benefit from:
- Mondays and Wednesdays: Engage in invigorating cardio routines incorporating plyometric movements, precise timing, and tempo adjustments to elevate heart rates and effectively burn calories, thereby enhancing endurance.
- Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays: Emphasis is placed on strength-building through targeted resistance training. Utilising one’s body weight and specialised equipment, these sessions aim to fortify muscles, enhance muscle mass, promote bone density, and elevate metabolic rates.
- Fridays and Saturdays: Experience comprehensive full-body workouts through hybrid sessions that seamlessly integrate cardio, resistance, agility, and core exercises. This intensive regimen is designed to bolster overall strength, endurance, and metabolic function.
Our collaboration with F45 is aimed at maximising runners’ fitness potential and supporting overall health and well-being.
