Anthony initially completed a Sports Science degree and following roles at the Medical Research Council and with the GB Rowing team, Anthony started working at the CRY Centre for Sports Cardiology, which screened athletes and young individuals for undetected cardiac conditions.
Here Anthony began to learn more about cardiology and eventually decided to retrain and become a Cardiac Physiologist. He gained experience across all areas of Cardiology whilst working at University Hospital Lewisham in London and Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth and eventually decided to specialise in Echocardiography. He is now an accredited member of the British Society of Echocardiography.
Anthony has more recently spent two years working at Aspetar Sports Medicine hospital in Qatar, an accredited IOC centre and Fifa centre of excellence where he would screen athletes from all over the world, before returning to the UK where is now works in London for the Royal Free NHS Trust and at the Institute of Sport Exercise and Health (ISEH).
