Lecturer
Kirsty is a dedicated Lecturer on the MSc Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health course at University College London, based at The ISEH.
A physiotherapist by trade, Kirsty predominantly works clinically, treating rowing related injuries. Her work with the Great Britain Rowing Team, as the under 19 squad Lead Physiotherapist, is focused on athlete education, injury prevention and prehabilitation.
Kirsty is currently researching potential risk factors of rib related injuries in under 19 rowers. Kirsty has over 3 years experience in academia including a Senior Lecturing post in physiotherapy. Her most recent post involved module leadership and content development for modules including professional practice, public health and neuromusculoskeletal assessment and management from Level 4 to Level 7.
