Jonny Brownlee will be joining us for Day 2 of our FREE Annual SEM Virtual Conference

We look forward to welcoming health professional virtually to the ISEH Annual Sport and Exercise Medicine Virtual Conference taking place soon. Join us FREE on 27th and 28th January from 6:30pm-8:30pm for two unmissable evenings of expert insights and engaging discussions focused on two key themes.

Day one: Monday 27 January – Managing the Injured Adolescent Athlete
Day two: Tuesday 28 January – Expert Care for the Collapsing Athlete

We’re privileged to have Jonny Brownlee, a multiple world champion triathlete, Olympic champion, and medallist in three consecutive Games, join us on Day two. Jonny will share his personal experiences with collapse and near-collapse during competition, providing invaluable insights from the perspective of an elite athlete. Joining him for this compelling discussion will be Professor James Hull.

This evening session, chaired by Professor Mathew Wilson, will also feature distinguished speakers including Prof. Yorck Olaf Schumacher, Prof. Sanjay Sharma, Prof. James Hull, and Dr Douglas J Casa, who will explore cardiac, respiratory, and neurological causes of collapse in athletes and present appropriate response measures to this challenging event.

Our annual conference will begin on 27th January for a series of talks exploring “Managing the Injured Adolescent Athlete”, chaired by Mr Sam Oussedik. This session will cover some of the common musculoskeletal injuries in young athletes, along with strategies for injury prevention and developmental support. Expert speakers in sport and exercise medicine include, Mr Sam Oussedik, Dr Rick Seah, Dr Noel Pollock, Dr. Chinmay Gupte), Mr. Ricci Plastow, and Professor Marco Cardinale.

After each session there will be an interactive Q&A where you can engage directly with the speakers and ask questions.
