Professional Biography

Rosie Tansey is currently working as a Clinical and Research Fellow under Prof Fares Haddad and is enrolled for a Diploma in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health at UCL based at the ISEH. Rosie graduated from Liverpool University with a BSc (hons) in Physiotherapy, and worked as a physiotherapist both in the NHS and with a variety of Sports teams including rugby (Assistant Physiotherapist Leicester Tigers Academy), golf and a World Student Games. She studied for her Medical degree at the University of Manchester and graduated with an MBChB European option having completed clinical attachments with the Service d’Aide Médicale Urgente (SAMU) emergency services in Paris and the Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois (CHUV) in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Rosie completed her Foundation years training in the Severn Deanery. Since her Core Surgical Training in the West Midlands she provided event cover for British Gymnastics teams.
