Professional Biography

Isabelle completed her Bachelor of Applied Science/Masters in Physiotherapy Practice at La Trobe University, Melbourne in 2018.

Isabelle worked in a variety of musculoskeletal private practices in Melbourne, Australia from 2019-2022. During this time, she was also a team physiotherapist for Fitzroy Football Club (Australian Rules Football) and Bayside Argonauts Football Club (soccer).

Prior to making the move over to the UK, Isabelle worked for 2 years at Kieser, a musculoskeletal private practice and strength and conditioning facility, in Sandringham, Melbourne. Whilst working at Kieser, Isabelle saw the incredible benefits of strength and conditioning in the rehabilitation of a wide variety of clinical presentations, including pre and post spinal, hip, knee, and oncology surgeries, and antenatal and postnatal clientele. She utilised technology such as the isokinetic lumbar extensor machine and hand-held dynamometry into her clinical practice.

Isabelle made the move over to London in March 2022 where she commenced work at the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) in Hampstead Heath. This is where Isabelle completed extensive Pilates training, including APPI’s Matwork and Equipment courses. It was from this training that Isabelle was able to incorporate Pilates and its specialised equipment into the management of a range of conditions, including pre and post spinal and lower limb surgeries, scoliosis, hypermobility, and antenatal and postnatal conditions.

Isabelle has extensive experience and passion for working with spinal and lower limb conditions. Isabelle has a special interest in running and running-related injuries.

Isabelle is keen runner, strength trainer, and Pilates enthusiast. Outside of training, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring Europe.
