Associate Professor, Exercise Physiology
Dr Flaminia Ronca is an Associate Professor with a PhD in Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics. She is a researcher at the Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health (ISEH) and is Programme Lead of the undergraduate programmes in Sport and Exercise Medical Sciences taught at the ISEH with University College London (UCL).
Her main research encompasses collaborative projects in Exercise Neuroscience with the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience (ICN) at UCL, underpinning the effects of exercise on cognition and on the central nervous system, and projects with British Police, using exercise to support the wellbeing and performance of police officers.
