Professional Biography
Dr Ian Beasley is Senior Lecturer in SEM at Queen Mary College, and Clinical Lead in SEM at Barts Health NHS Trust. He has worked in professional football for over 30 years, which included posts at Arsenal FC, and as Head of Medical Services for the Football Association and Doctor to the England Senior Mens Team. He is a match day medical co-ordinator(tunnel doctor) for Bournemouth FC currently. He is a medical adviser to the Royal Ballet Co., Covent Garden. He accompanied Great Britain Hockey to two Olympic Games, and was a member of the headquarters medical team at London 2012.
He has an interest in dance medicine, and sees performers from many disciplines, as well as ballet dancers of all ages and abilities.
