We are delighted to host the ‘Strength, Power and Movement Assessments in Injured Athletes ISEH Learning CPD course, at our leading Central London facility on Saturday 8th July.

Led by Dr Paul Read, this one-day course aims to provide sports science and medicine practitioners with the knowledge and confidence to effectively design and implementing targeted training and reconditioning programs for injured athletes as part of the return to sport continuum.

The course begins by discussing and critically analysing various testing protocols used in return to play scenarios for injured athletes. By understanding these methodologies and how data can be used to guide programming, participants can gain further insight and confidence in implementing these tests in their own practice.

Participants will have the opportunity to practically undertake each test, allowing them to gain hands-on experience and further insight into their implementation within their own practice. Guidelines will also be provided for interpreting and analysing the data, enabling participants to profile their athletes to monitor their performance over time and enhance their return to sport readiness.

Even if participants do not plan to implement these tests within their professional practice, an appreciation of them will help when reading literature and when receiving referrals. By completing this workshop, participants will be equipped with the necessary skills to design targeted training and reconditioning programs following injury, ensuring their athletes can return to sport safely and effectively.
