The fifth annual ISEH 5K and 10K run took place in London's beautiful Regent's Park on Sunday 25 June in perfect conditions.

The 2017 event saw an increase of entries by 10% compared to 2016 with 330 people registered. Building on 2016, the ISEH 2.5K for those new to running or simply wishing to walk, again proved a successful entry point event.

We were delighted to have double Olympian Joslyn Hoyte-Smith in attendance who warmed up the competitors before officially starting the race as well as congratulating the runners and as they finished.

The run was a licensed chip timed event and attracted both competitive runners and people who wanted to use the race to test their exercise regimes and become more active something which we are passionate about here at the ISEH.

Runners were supported around the course by enthusiastic marshals and at the end of the race were greeted with a smiley face, a medal and some lovely refreshments.

There were prizes for the first three finishers (male and female) in the both the 5K and 10K races as well as age group categories winners in the 10K.

Congratulations to Louis Abbas and Julie Boyd who came 1st (male and female) in the 10K and each won a free CPEX fitness test at the ISEH and to Oliver Haddad and Annabelle Evans who came 1st (male and female) in the 5K.
